夏ぞらのもとにボートはゆれ
夢見るようにもためらっていた、
とある七月のゆうぐれ
身ぢかに三人の子どもは坐り、
かがやくひとみとすなおな耳で
わたしの話に聞きほれていた。
その青ぞらはいまはうすれた。
こだまはたえ、おもいではほろび、
夏はきびしい秋の霜に追われる。
けれどいまもなお、まぼろしのよう
うつつの目にはうかがえぬ空のもと、
アリスはわたしをおとずれてくる。
かがやくひとみとすなおな耳の
あの子どもらも、わたしの話を聞こうとして
身をすりよせてくればよい。
魔法の国で、子どもらは夢を見ながら
眠っている、過ぎ去る日々のかたわらで、
眠っている、ほろび去る夏のかたわらで。
ながれただよいくだりながら
金いろのひかりのなかにためらいながら
いのちとは、夢でなければ、なんなのだろう？
