キノコの病い
先日の「キノコ狩ルチャー」で飯沢耕太郎さんは、ご自身がキノコに夢中になる様子を「病気」という言葉を用いて表現されていました。キノコの病いについて、僭越ながらそのきのこが説明させていただきます。
キノコの病い4段階
- 第1段階 潜伏期
- 第2段階 発病
- 第3段階 進行期
- 第4段階 末期
第1段階とは、なんとなくキノコグッズを手にしていたり、お鍋に入っているしめじやえのきを裏返して見てみたりと、まだ本人は「キノコが好き」ということには気づきません。病気で例えるなら潜伏期間といった具合です。初感染から発病までの期間は人によって様々ですが、人によっては数ヶ月で発症する人もいれば、十数年間も発症しない人もいます。この期間のあなたに自覚できる症状はありませんが、体の中では胞子が増殖し続けています。
第2段階とは、口に出して「キノコが好き」「キノコが美しい」といえるまでになり、自覚症状の出たあなた、そう、あなたのことです。おめでとうございます。立派なキノコ病です。この時期の特徴的な症状として、携帯電話にキノコ・ストラップをつける、車のルームミラーのところにキノコグッズをぶらさげるといったキノコグッズ症状があげられます。また一部の患者には「多幸感」といった精神症状が報告されています。「幸せ」という言葉の定義を根本からくつがえす圧倒的な幸福感を感じることができます。あなたの体の中で静かに増殖を続けていた胞子がキノコの花を咲かせ始めます。ちなみに、この病い、治療法は発見されていません。発症すると死んでも治りません。
第3段階とは、頭いえ体中が胞子でいっぱいになり、ふりはらおうとするかのようにとんでもないキノコパワーでもって加速し始める進行期です。この第3段階までくると、初対面の人のキノコ病親和性の有無を瞬時に判断できるようになる、キノコに言及されている小説をタイトルだけから発見することができる、など「キノコ勘」と呼ばれる特殊能力に目覚める患者が現れ始めます。そして、キノコに関するブログを始める、イベントを企画する、企画書を出版社に持ち込む、など、周囲への感染力が著しく増大します（病気の本人は「伝道」や「布教」という言葉を使いますが）。
そして第4段階、末期です。自分の職業が何なのかわからくなり、話題のほとんどがキノコになります。また、あらゆる物事をキノコにたとえて説明する、ありとあらゆる価値をキノコ性の有無で判断する、など思考が完全にキノコに支配されます。この段階までくると、通学中の小学生に石を投げつけられたり、親戚の法事に呼ばれなかったり、なぜか社会からの風当たりが強くなってきます。患者本人はそんなことおかまいなしで、キノコに選ばれし者として迫害を受ける宿命に喜びすら感じながら、キノコの森の奥深くへと歩を進めます。
そのきのこの予後に乞御期待！

私はさしずめ第３段階から次の段階に足をかけているところ。迫害が快感になりつつありますので、もう第４段階かも。第５段階はどんな世界なんでしょう。

こんばんは。
先日の「キノコ狩ルチャー」では、お会いすることができ、とても光栄でした！
私の場合、10年ほどの潜伏期間があり、昨年発症したようです。
発症後、ものすごい勢いで症状が進行し、現在は第2段階から第3段階への過渡期ではないかと思われます。
最近は「キノコ目」の進行度が早く、こんな所で出会うとは！と思うことがしばしばあるようになりました。
しかし、会社の運営しているブログでキノコ記事を書いているあたり、もしかしたら既に第3段階かもしれません。
この先のステージが楽しみで仕方ありませんね！

秋分の日に近所の山に登山に行った際にうっかり感染してしまったようです。
折りしも、山路は色とりどりのキノコがその美しさを競う盛りでありました。
それからなんとなくキノコが気になりだして、
図書館で借りてきたキノコ図鑑を読むようになったり、
冷蔵庫のシイタケに悩み事を相談するようになったりするような症状がでてきました。
日に日に症状が強くなってまいりまして、
先週からはついに、一日中仕事もしないでキノコ関連のサイトを見るようになり、
ふと気付くと、国立科学博物館の「菌類のふしぎ展」の前に立っていたり、
もう、自分でも気付かないうちにキノコに夢中になってしまっていているのです。
数ヶ月でここまで症状が進行するとなると、
進行期、末期ににはどんな自分になってしまうのかと不安で夜も眠れません。
なにせ小さな田舎町に住んでいるものですから、
このまま完全にキノコ脳になってしまって、
キノコのことばかり話すようなキノコ人間になってしまったら、
私ひとりは構いませんが、
愛する妻と幼い二人の子供達が不憫でなりません。

私は今第３段階から４段階の移行期にいるような気がします。
キノコのありそうな場所を瞬時に察して吸い寄せられ、もう自らキノコになろうかとばかり考えてしまいます。
キノコ的な人、キノコ的なにおい、その生息地、なぜだかわかってしまいます。
日常生活圏においても常にキノコ狩りを行っています。
キノコ好きは知りたがり。
キノコ好きは不思議好き。
キノコ好きは憎めない。
